Ride the River with us this Weekend!
Make this Fourth of July Weekend memorable with time spent on the river! River & Trail has five awesome outdoor adventures to choose from for every type of person.
White Water Raft the World Cup Kayak Slalom Course on the Savage River!
White water raft the World Cup Kayak Slalom Course on the Savage River in Western Maryland on July 5th or enjoy an entry level trip on the Shenandoah and Potomac through three states near Harper’s Ferry, WV.
Take a Mellow Trip with Us Down the Shenandoah River!
For a more mellow water paddling experience, join River & Trail kayaking or canoeing on a guided Shenandoah River Trip through the scenic foothills of the Blue Ridge. After unwinding on the river, enjoy a riverside picnic followed by a visit to the historical Bloomery Plantation Distillery. There they specialize in the original limoncello and other exotic liquors.
Paddle the Potomac at Sunset!
If birding and wildlife are areas of interest, paddling the Potomac while the sun sets and the full moon rises is a must. On our last 6 mile float, paddlers witnessed three eagles in flight.
Kayak and Brunch – the Perfect Way to Spend a Sunday.
If Sunday is your day to be on the water sign-up for our signature and enjoy a tasty brunch al fresco followed by a beginner whitewater guided paddle on one of the top 60 paddling streams in North America as chosen by the editors of Canoe & Kayak Magazine.
Kayak, Canoe, Bike, and/or Hike – Create Your Own Adventure!
There is still more to do this Fourth of July–rent a kayak or canoe on your own and paddle where herons and eagles fly. Peddle on one of the most scenic sections of the C&O Canal Bike-way by Harpers Ferry in the morning and in the afternoon join us for our most popular fourth of July activity, TUBING!
Add Some Ziplining!
For those who love speed, fly through the trees on our 840 foot zipline on our Zip & Splash option. For a holiday you won’t forget, we invite you to join us this Fourth of July weekend!
