Waivers for River & Trail

Waivers for all River & Trail Adventures

Waivers of Liability are available to print.

All adults 18 and older must sign their own form while parents or guardians of minors should sign for them where the waiver indicates. Waivers may be signed online and are available as a link from your reservation confirmation.  Please help us save paper by doing this ahead of time.

If you cannot sign your waiver online,  please bring it with you on the day of the trip.

No changes or additions may be made to the waivers.

River & Trail Outfitters has been in business for almost 50 years and has an excellent safety record. We make your well-being our primary concern. The following waiver of liability is necessary for us to maintain our insurance and therefore we could not have this sort of business in this day and age without it.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to give us a call or send an email. Also keep in mind that the word “negligence” in legal terms is to be differentiated from “gross negligence” which means that someone has been INTENTIONALLY negligent.

Waiver & Release of Liability for adults and minors

All participants on a River & Trail trip must sign our standard waiver.  One form per person.

Boat Rental Lease Agreement

The boat rental lease agreement is required for all those renting canoes and kayaks…in addition to the Waiver & Release of Liability)
Person making the reservation (considered the trip leader) should fill out the first page of the lease agreement as much as possible. Leave areas that ask for numbers of boats/people blank until the day of the trip in case there are folks that don’t show. The leader should date and sign the bottom of page one.
All other adults, 18 and older, should print and sign as Guarantors.
